Vertu Goes The Flip Way With Constellation F Ayxta

Filed under: Mobile Phones — joshua @ 11:10 am

Vertu, the manufacturer of luxury mobile phones has unveiled its latest phone, the Constellation F Ayxta. This is the first time Vertu has unveiled a flip phone, but they have stuck with the basic design factor for their mobile phones. The Constellation Ayxta clamshell phone has visible ruby bearings on the hinge for smooth movement. The phone’s exterior has a touch screen display for quick reading of text messages and for checking incoming calls.

The Constellation Ayxta uses GPS for the “City Brief” feature. At the touch of a button, the phone draws information about the city the user is in, and offers recommendations and information on restaurants, shopping guides, exhibitions and even about local cultural etiquettes.

The phone is made of ceramic and leather on an stainless steel frame and has aerospace grade aluminum parts. It’s screen is Vertu’s signature sapphire crystal screen.
