ASUS’ 15.6-inch Eee Top all-in-one PC is something that instantly evokes a mixed kind of reaction in most of us. While we all love the sleek LED screen that a laptop offers along with the convenient detached keyboard option that comes with a desktop, it still begs the question of why anyone would go out of their way to spend so much on one of these.
Looking cool and stylish seems to be the best answer to that and in case you want to jump on the all-in-one bandwagon, the Eee Top of ASUS is a nice option indeed. Coming loaded with a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows XP Home; this is like a bigger version of a Netbook! While those who want the HD-friendly versions can wait, others impressed by the Eee Top can place orders today with pre-orders being taken already.
ASUS has just officially announced the new P565 smartphone, this handsets boasts an astonishing 800MHz processor, claiming to be the fastest mobile phone on the market worldwide.The phone have a 2.8 inch VGA LCD display, Glide technology, 256MB flash memory, 128MB SDRAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity, 3MP camera with autofocus and microSD/SDHC memory card slot. The Asus P565 also supports HSDPA 3.6Mbps and UMTS 2100, EDGE/GPRS/GSM 900/1800/1900 connectivity. The Asus P565 Smartphone has the dimension of 102mm x 60.5mm x 16mm and weights at only 120 grams.
Asus has not revealed the price or release date.
There are a bunch of ultraportable laptops you can choose from, but not all of them deliver performance, not to mention that some of them are really expensive. Good for us, the new ASUS N20A is going to pack four of the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors (T9400, P8600, P7350, T5800, or T5850), 4GB of DDR2 memory, a 12-inch display that does 1280 x 800, Wi-Fi, a 1.3 mpix web camera, and should run on Windows Vista. Other than that it’s going to pack a max 320GB HDD, GMA X4500HD integrated graphics, HDMI and VGA outputs and optional support for 3G/3.5G mobile broadband and Bluetooth.
Doesn’t sound like a bad configuration and if you consider that ZipZoomFly sells an ASUS N20A-A1 with 250GB of hdd memory and a Core 2 Duo T5800 at 2GHz for $999, I may be tempted. – via Laptoping
ASUS officially revealed the Eee Top a PC all-in-one with touchscreen.The ASUS ET1602 run with 15.6-inch touchscreen 16:9, Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, hard disk 160 GB, Wi-Fi connectivity and 1.3-megapixel Webcam.
The Eee Top adopts as the operating system Windows XP, but provide a series of programs (EeeCinema, EeeMemo, Opera Touch, SoftStyles, Cam Eee) to fully exploit the capabilities offered by its touchscreen single touch.
