Sony Ericsson Equinox to be Available on T-Mobile in October

Filed under: Mobile Phones — joshua @ 11:08 am

Sony Ericsson Equinox, or the T707 will be made available on T-Mobile in USA October 28. The phone first came into being in March, when Sony Ericsson and Maria Sharapova displayed the phone. The clamshell phone promises scratch resistance for the QVGA internal display, and the 36 x 128 pixels external display.

Other specifications of the phone include stereo Bluetooth, picture messaging, 3.2MP camera and what is called a “fashionable pulse light” that is supposed to lure its targeted audience of “connected socializers” and “sharing optimizers.” There is no word on pricing yet, but that should be revealed in some time, and if T-Mobile doesn’t get some crazy ideas and lose its head, it is very likely that the phone will cost $100 for a two year contract, and inclusive of a mail-in rebate.
