Adobe has released the Photoshop Mobile for iPhone app, available to iPhone and iPod touch users in the USA and Canada only. The app is a free download, and allows users some basic image editing functions like crop, rotate, flip, saturation and tint control, exposure and vibrancy tweaking, and of course a number of filters and effects because photoshop for mobile wouldn’t be that big a deal without the filters.
The filters are quite the basic ones though, like color to black and white, Warm Vintage, Vignette and Pop. The included Soft Focus tool will add a slight blur to the image for “artistic effect”. Also on offer is 2GB of online storage that app users can access and upload images to for sharing and backup. Another tool on offer is the “Sketch” tool. This one will make images look like they have been hand drawn.
