Kohjinsha Shows Concept Netbook With Dual Screens

Filed under: Laptops — joshua @ 10:55 pm

Dual screens have been an object of desire and interest in laptops for quite sometime now, and such systems now appear to be firmly on the horizon of reaching the markets. While a couple other dual screen laptop concepts are already trying to reach production, Kohjinsha heated things a bit with a promising dual-screen netbook concept.

The concept has two 10.1-inch screens, whose arrangement pretty much follows the standard practise for such netbooks. When required, one screen slides beneath the other to have just one working screen, and can slide out just as easily when dual screen operation is required. The concept runs Windows 7, has up to 4 GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor.

Presence of an extra screen does of course make the netbook a bit thicker than other single screen netbooks. Since this was just a concept, Kohjinsha hasn’t announced the price, the battery life or even if they have any production plans for this one.
