CEATEC has seen quite some interesting innovations and designs being displayed, same goes for the Ply and Prismoid phones from iida. The Ply phone has a body arranged to mimick the structure of plywood, and has looks like layers of ply put one on top of the other. The Prismoid on the other hand, has looks more like conventional mobile phones, but it maintains interesting looks.
The Ply is a slider that includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, 1-seg TV tuner and a 3-inch panel. The Prismoid on the other hand, has a 2.7-inch primary display, while a 0.6-inch OLED sub-display is present on the exterior of this clamshell phone. Other features include a microSD expansion slot, and pretty much the basic functions as both of these aren’t smartphone even by any loose standards, just simple devices, more so for the Prismoid.
