Filed under: Mobile Phones — joshua @ 10:11 am

Verizon has announced that the HTC Imagio will be on offer October 6 onwards, and this mobile phone looks quite interesting with a number of firsts to its name. The Imagio will be the first device on sale to offer Windows Mobile 6.5. Also, it will be the first HTC and Windows Mobile device to support MediaFLO based VCAST TV. There are a number of features to go along with these firsts, making the HTC Imagio a very interesting package.

Other features on the device include a 3.6-inch touchscreen VGA display, autofocus camera with 5 megapixels, quadband EDGE with HSPA 2100, 3.5mm headphone jack, and TouchFLO 3D with social network integration. Retail stores will however, get the phone a couple of weeks after the October 6 launch, the Imagio will be available in stores by October 20. The phone costs $199.99 on contract, and after rebate.
