Acer is one of the major sponsors of the Ferrari F1 team, and the perks of pouring the money there don’t just end with getting its name and logo printed on the F1 race car, Acer also gets to put Ferrari’s prancing horse on its notebooks. Acer’s latest Ferrari branded notebook has been named the Ferrari One, and it can be expected to provide performance that justifies the Ferrari name attached to the notebook.
The notebook is covered in the famed Ferrari red color, with the prancing horse logo in the center and Acer’s name at the top left. Ferrari One utilizes the new AMD Congo platform. This platform comes with a dual-core AMD Athlon X2 L310 processor running at 1.2 GHz and with 1MB L2 cache at its disposal.
Good performance is a fact with this notebook, so is a price tag that will go high up as well. The notebook will first go on sale in Europe on October 22 with a price tag of 499 Euros (US$ 728).
