Nokia N8

Filed under: Mobile Phones — fane @ 12:12 am

The latest smartphone from the stables of Nokia is the N8, and it’s quite a looker. It stands out from the pack of current generation of smartphones when it comes to looks simply because it’s so different with aluminum construction and a wide palette of color options.

This N8 has a 3.5″ (360 X 640 resolution) AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with scratch resistant Gorilla glass display, on which you get to enjoy 720p movies. Complementing the screen is a speaker that produces loud and crisp sound. This also results in call quality being (very) slightly better than that of the iPhone.

This phone also introduces the all new OS, Symbian^3. It’s a really efficient OS so it performs as good as the competition with half the amount of memory and lesser processor speed. While this is all well and good, it’s USP has to be the phenomenal 12MP camera with Carl Zeiss autofocus lens, mechanical shutter and Xenon flash, that supports HD video recording. Such a camera is rarely to be found on a smartphone but Nokia shows here what it means to be a leader.

With everything that the N8 brings to the table, it’s a marvel of a smartphone. The competition better watch out, and the customers may rejoice and locking for Nokia N8 deals at http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/
