Though it was announced a couple of months ago, it’s just now that the new Canon PowerShot SX10 IS gets reviewed thoroughly by the guys at the Photography Blog. They call it a “sturdy plastic brick of a camera,” but let’s see why.

First of all the bigger and better lens which seems to be much better than the Canon S5 IS. Also interesting is the tilt-and-swivel LCD and the dedicated record button for video that come in handy. However, on the other part, the bad stuff is that you can’t have HD video recording or RAW still shots.
Last thing about it is the price, $400, which seems to be a little bit above what everyone expected, placing it above some very good point and shooters, and close to some entry-level DSLRs. Check out the details with them.

Available in red, white, or black, the Medium is made from wood, and features four speakers, ported bass, a 100-Watt digital Class D amplifier, a slot-loading CD player, and a digital radio tuner, like the Model M. The GenevaSound Medium Hi-Fi is available now and sells for $799.
